Vanilla Oatmeal with Melting Chocolate and Red Berries

Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup (125 ml) coconut or almond milk
  • 0.5 cup (125 ml) water
  • 3/4 cup (175 ml) oats (I use glutenfree thick/old-fashioned)
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • Dash of vanilla
  • Dash of salt

Toppings

  • strawberries
  • raspberries
  • a few squares of your fav chocolate (I used @galerieauchocolat dark chocolate)
  • quinoa puffs (I used @gogoquinoa)

Preparation

  1. Put all ingredients except toppings in a pot and bring to a boil.

  2. Reduce heat and simmer for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until desired creaminess is reached.

  3. Pour the oatmeal into a bowl and immediately add the chocolate squares to let them melt.
