Savory Chickpea Charcoal Waffles
Ingredients
- 1 cup chickpea flour
- 4 tbsp rice flour
- 3 tsp charcoal powder (I used @suncorefoods charcoal coconut powder)
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground garlic
- 1 1/2 cup plant milk (or water)
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Preparation
Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl and mix. Then add the wet ingredients, mix until well incorporated and let sit for 5-10 minutes.
Warm up your waffle iron and brush a little oil. When ready, pour your batter and cook on the lowest heat possible for 6-9 minutes. You want to cook the waffles fully because nothing is worse than raw chickpea flour.
Once ready, serve with whatever you desire and enjoy!
