Vegan Chocolate Pear Clafoutis

Ingredients

  • 60g sugar
  • 150g vegan yogurt
  • 50g oil (such as olive oil)
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar (optional)
  • 100g flour
  • 20g cornstarch
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 500mL plant-based milk (plain or vanilla)
  • 100g dark chocolate, chopped (or chips)
  • 4 large pears

Preparation

  1. In a large bowl, mix 60g sugar, 150g vegan yogurt, 50g oil (such as olive oil), optional 1 packet vanilla sugar, 100g flour, 20g cornstarch, and a pinch of salt.

  2. Dilute the mixture with 500mL of plant-based milk (plain or vanilla). Add 100g of chopped dark chocolate or chocolate chips.

  3. Cut 4 large pears and place them in an oiled baking dish.

  4. Pour the batter over the pears and bake for 35 minutes at 180°C with fan assistance. If needed, finish with a few minutes under the grill.
