Brioche French Toast with Nutty Topping
Ingredients
- Brioche baguette
- 2 small eggs or 1 large egg
- Erythritol gold
- Moroccan almond extract
- Vanilla bean paste
- 1 tablespoon salted caramel sauce
- Pecans, walnuts, or hazelnuts (toasted)
- Peanut butter chips
Preparation
Beat the eggs and mix with erythritol gold, Moroccan almond extract, and vanilla bean paste.
Cut the brioche baguette into pieces and soak in the egg mixture.
Fry the soaked brioche on both sides until golden.
Place under the grill to crisp up slightly.
Melt the salted caramel sauce in the microwave for 10 seconds.
Stack the fried brioche and cover with the melted caramel sauce, toasted nuts, and peanut butter chips.
Notes
If you don't like sweet breakfasts, this dish may not appeal to you.
Adjust egg quantity based on size: use 2 small or 1 large egg.
