Easy Baked Tofu with Seasonings
Ingredients
- 1 block of firm tofu
- 3 tbsp corn starch
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- optional: sauce of choice
Preparation
Drain the water from the tofu and press it with paper towels or a kitchen towel to remove excess water.
Cut the tofu into small cubes.
In a bowl, mix the corn starch, salt, garlic powder, and pepper.
Coat each tofu cube with the mixture.
Place the coated tofu on a baking sheet.
Bake at 400°F for 20 minutes.
Optionally, dip each tofu cube in a sauce of choice and bake for another 20 minutes.
Tips
This recipe makes a few portions and can be scaled down if needed.
