Easy Baked Tofu with Seasonings

Ingredients

  • 1 block of firm tofu
  • 3 tbsp corn starch
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • optional: sauce of choice

Preparation

  1. Drain the water from the tofu and press it with paper towels or a kitchen towel to remove excess water.

  2. Cut the tofu into small cubes.

  3. In a bowl, mix the corn starch, salt, garlic powder, and pepper.

  4. Coat each tofu cube with the mixture.

  5. Place the coated tofu on a baking sheet.

  6. Bake at 400°F for 20 minutes.

  7. Optionally, dip each tofu cube in a sauce of choice and bake for another 20 minutes.

Tips

  1. This recipe makes a few portions and can be scaled down if needed.
