Easy Vegan Glazed Tofu Roast

Ingredients

  • 400g firm tofu
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Glaze

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or agave
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon dark berry jam
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt to taste

Preparation

  1. Pat dry the tofu and score it diagonally.

  2. Add the soy sauce and smoked paprika mixture to coat the tofu fully.

  3. Bake the tofu at 190°C (375°F) for 50 minutes.

  4. Mix the glaze ingredients well.

  5. Pour the glaze over the tofu and bake for another 10 minutes.
