Creamy Tahini Tofu
Ingredients
- 2 packages extra firm tofu, pressed
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1 Tbsp sriracha
- 2 tsp soy sauce or coconut amino
- 1 tsp agave or maple syrup
- 1 tsp rice wine vinegar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 Tbsp water
- 1 tsp neutral oil (for pan)
Preparation
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Spray a large pan with oil to prevent sticking and use two pans if necessary for two packages of tofu.
Cut the pressed tofu into bite-sized cubes and place evenly on the prepared pan.
Bake the tofu for 20 minutes, then remove, flip, and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
In a medium bowl, combine the tahini, sriracha, soy sauce, agave, rice wine vinegar, garlic powder, and water, and whisk until smooth.
Add the baked tofu to the bowl and mix to coat.
Serving suggestions
Pair the tofu with your favorite grain and vegetables, such as rice, edamame, avocado, and mushrooms.
