Oven-Baked Creamy Tahini Tofu
Ingredients
- 2 packages extra firm tofu, pressed
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (add more if desired)
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce or coconut aminos
- 1 teaspoon agave or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon rice wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons water (to thin)
- 1 teaspoon neutral oil (for pan)
Preparation
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Spray a large pan with oil to prevent sticking and use two pans if necessary for two packages of tofu.
Cut the pressed tofu into bite-size cubes and place evenly on the prepared pan.
Bake the tofu for 20 minutes, then flip and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
In a medium bowl, combine the sauce ingredients and whisk until smooth.
Add the baked tofu to the bowl and mix to coat with the sauce.

Pair the tofu with your favorite grains and vegetables, such as rice, edamame, avocado, and mushrooms.
