French Bean Salad with Peanuts

Ingredients

  • 750 g fresh or frozen French beans
  • 1 pomegranate
  • 1/2 can of peanuts
  • 1 tbsp sesame
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • Salt, pepper
  • Chilli flakes

Preparation

  1. Blanch the French beans in boiling water for about 2 minutes to keep them crunchy and maintain their green color.

  2. Rinse with cold water and dry off.

  3. Peel the pomegranate.

  4. Put all ingredients in a large salad bowl and mix them up.

Notes

  1. French beans are low in calories and in saturated fat, but they're also a fantastic source of fiber, vitamin C, and minerals like iron, calcium, and magnesium
