Pan-Cooked Corn Flour Bread

Ingredients

  • 2.5 cups flour
  • 1 cup corn flour
  • A bit more than 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Preparation

  1. Mix lukewarm water, dry yeast, and olive oil in a large mixing bowl and let it rest for 10 minutes to activate.

  2. Add flour, salt, and corn flour to make a soft dough that doesn't stick to your hands.

  3. Cover and let it rest for half an hour.

  4. Divide the rested dough into 7 equal pieces and shape into balls.

  5. Roll each ball out to the size of a serving plate and cook in a Teflon pan, flipping both sides.
