Strawberries and Cream Stuffed French Toast

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 slices of bread

Filling

  • 1/4 cup cream cheese
  • 6 strawberries, sliced

Preparation

  1. Whisk the eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon together in a bowl.

  2. Spread cream cheese onto all pieces of bread and add the sliced strawberries to two slices of bread. Top with another piece of bread and gently press the edges down to seal in the filling. Repeat with the other slices.

  3. Dip each sandwich into the mixture, flipping to make sure both sides are coated.

  4. Cook in a skillet over medium heat for 3-5 minutes on both sides.
