Stuffed Tofu with Vegetables

Ingredients

  • 10 pre-fried tofu pieces
  • 2 handfuls bean sprouts
  • Sliced cabbage as needed
  • 1 carrot
  • Celery sliced as needed
  • Pepper powder as needed
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar to taste

Spice paste

  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 5 shallots
  • 1 tablespoon ground shrimp

Batter

  • Seasoned instant flour mix as needed
  • Water, added gradually to make thick batter

Preparation

  1. Sauté the spice paste until fragrant.

  2. Add the vegetables and sauté until slightly wilted.

  3. Add sugar, salt, and pepper powder, adjust seasoning, and set aside.

  4. Stuff the vegetable mixture into slit tofu pieces.

  5. Dip in the batter, fry in plenty of oil until golden brown, drain, and serve with preferred dipping sauce.
