Turkish Never-Disintegrating Meatball Stew
Ingredients
- 300 grams ground beef
- 2 potatoes (optional)
- 1 tea glass fine bulgur
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 medium onion, grated
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon red pepper powder
Sauce
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon pepper paste
- black pepper
- salt
- 5-6 cups water
Preparation
First, in a bowl, combine the ground beef, bulgur, egg, grated onion, salt, black pepper, and red pepper powder, knead well until fully mixed, then divide into small pieces and roll into balls.
In a pot, add oil and the tomato paste and pepper paste, then sauté briefly.
Add the chopped potatoes and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
Pour in the water.
When the water boils, add the prepared meatballs.
Add black pepper and salt to taste, then let it simmer until cooked.
Serving suggestions
Serve with rice and salad.
