Mini Biscuits Stuffed with Dates

Ingredients

  • 2 cups finely ground biscuits
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons rose water
  • 1 teaspoon saffron

Filling

  • 1 cup chopped dates
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Garnish

  • whole walnut pieces

Preparation

  1. In a deep bowl, place the ground biscuits, honey, rose water, and saffron and use your fingertips to knead the mixture into a dough.

  2. In a separate bowl, mix the chopped dates, sweetened condensed milk, and cinnamon to form the filling.

  3. Prepare small cupcake molds and set them aside.

  4. Between two sheets of parchment paper, roll out the dough using a rolling pin and cut it into circles with a 2-inch cookie cutter.

  5. Place the dough circles into the cupcake molds, add the filling, and top with whole walnut pieces for decoration.

  6. Put the tray in the refrigerator to set.
