Casserole

Ingredients

  • a large diced onion
  • 1 tsp ghee
  • garlic salt and rosemary to taste
  • 3 medium carrots
  • 500g venison steaks

Preparation

  1. Dice 500g venison steaks

  2. Soften a large diced onion in 1 tsp ghee then add in the diced venison and brown all over to seal it

  3. Make up a red wine stock pot and pour into the pan

  4. Add garlic salt and rosemary to taste

  5. Slice 3 medium carrots and add to the casserole

  6. You could cook it in the oven or slow cooker but we cooked it on low on the hob for 1.5 hours til the venison was falling apart
