Delicious Chickpea Curry with Spices

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 small bunch coriander
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil or coconut oil
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 3 cm fresh ginger
  • 2 cups cooked chickpeas
  • 150 ml coconut milk

Preparation

  1. Heat the oil and caramelise the onion and garlic in it.

  2. Add salt and spices and cook for 1 minute.

  3. Add the tomatoes and coconut milk and simmer for a few minutes.

  4. Add the chickpeas and simmer for about 10 minutes.

  5. Serve with rice.
