Easy Apple Pie Oatmeal Bars for Breakfast

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 chopped apples
  • 3 cups old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tbsp nut butter of choice
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Optional: 2 tbsp vanilla protein powder or collagen

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350F

  2. In a bowl, whisk 2 eggs

  3. Add in 2 chopped apples, 3 cups old fashioned rolled oats, 1/2 cup applesauce, 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk, 1 tbsp nut butter of choice, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/4 cup maple syrup, 1 tsp vanilla, and optional 2 tbsp vanilla protein powder or collagen

  4. Mix it all together with a spatula

  5. Line a brownie pan with parchment paper

  6. Pour the mixture in and smooth down with a knife

  7. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes

  8. Enjoy; can be eaten cold or warmed up if desired
