Easy Apple Pie Oatmeal Bars for Breakfast
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 2 chopped apples
- 3 cups old fashioned rolled oats
- 1/2 cup applesauce
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tbsp nut butter of choice
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Optional: 2 tbsp vanilla protein powder or collagen
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350F
In a bowl, whisk 2 eggs
Add in 2 chopped apples, 3 cups old fashioned rolled oats, 1/2 cup applesauce, 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk, 1 tbsp nut butter of choice, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/4 cup maple syrup, 1 tsp vanilla, and optional 2 tbsp vanilla protein powder or collagen
Mix it all together with a spatula
Line a brownie pan with parchment paper
Pour the mixture in and smooth down with a knife
Bake at 350F for 30 minutes
Enjoy; can be eaten cold or warmed up if desired
