• 1 can of chickpeas, rinse and drained (pat dry with a towel)
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 3 tbsp rolled/quick oats
  • 1/4 medium onion, diced
  • 1 handful of cilantro, tough stems removed
  • 1 handful fresh parsley, tough stems removed
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/4 tsp salt

  1. Take all ingredients and add to a food processor

  2. Process the ingredients together until mixture is slightly crumbly, but sticks together very well (if you can’t form a ball without it falling a part then you should process it a little more

  3. Take a small spoon full of the mixture and roll between your hands to make even looking falafel balls (should make 12)

  4. You can cook the falafel in a preheated oven set at 400F for 25 minutes on one side then flip (please do it with a spatula to prevent the falafel from getting stuck and ripping) and bake for another 5 minutes or until golden

  5. If using your airfrier, set temperature to 370 and allow falafel to cook for 9 minutes

  6. Serve as desired
