Vegan Tofu Fish Fingers
Ingredients
- 1 cup of spelt flour
- 1 1/4 cups of water
- 1 packet of tofu cut into soldiers
- 3-4 seaweed sheets (ground into flakes)
- 1 1/2 cups of bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of sweet smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon of parsley flakes
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- Pepper
- Sunflower oil for frying
Preparation
In a bowl add the flour, seaweed flakes, paprika, 1 teaspoon of salt, pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder, water and combine.
In another bowl add bread crumb, parsley, 1/2 garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder and 1 teaspoon of salt and combine.
Place the sliced tofu in the prepared batter and coat well. Remove excess batter and place in the bread crumb mixture.
In a fry pan add the oil and fry. Place on absorbent paper.
Serving suggestions
Best served warm. Drizzle with lemon juice.
