Chickpea Brownie Batter

Ingredients

  • 15 oz chickpeas, drained
  • 2 tbl natural creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tbl cocoa powder
  • 4 tbl maple syrup
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/4-1/2 cup non-dairy milk

Preparation

  1. I peel my chickpeas to make dessert hummus recipes even smoother

  2. Watch my IGTV to see the 60 second method! Add all ingredients into a food processor and puree until smooth

  3. Start with 1/4 cup milk and add more as desired

  4. The consistency should be like brownie batter and will firm in the fridge

  5. You can use coconut or granulated sugar in place of maple syrup but the consistency and smoothness is better with maple syrup

  6. This makes 6 servings as a dessert or treat
