Double Choc Banana Muffins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond meal
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp baking powder and 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 mashed bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla essence
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup and 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup choc chips

Preparation

  1. Mix 2 cups almond meal, 1/4 cup cacao powder, 1 tbsp baking powder and 1 tsp cinnamon into a bowl

  2. In a seperate bowl whisk 3 mashed bananas, 2 eggs, 1 tbsp vanilla essence, 1/4 cup maple syrup and 1/4 cup coconut oil

  3. Pour wet ingredients and 1/2 cup choc chips or chopped up choc into the dry ingredients and gently fold together

  4. Bake for 25-35 min on 180 degrees

  5. Serves 4 large or 6 medium muffins
