Cranberry Spiced Candied Pecans with Matcha

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups pecans
  • 3/4 cup frozen cranberries
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 tsp ginger powder
  • 2 tbsp almond butter
  • at least 1/4 cup maple syrup (more if mixture is too thick)
  • 1/2 tbsp molasses
  • 1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon
  • 1 tsp @fromthereserve Viking matcha powder

Preparation

  1. Heat a skillet to medium heat and add the frozen cranberries. Let them defrost until the liquid begins to bubble slightly.

  2. Meanwhile, mix together the almond butter, maple syrup, spices, Viking matcha, molasses, and ginger powder.

  3. Add the pecans to the pan with cranberries and then drizzle in all the sauce. Mix everything together with a spatula until it’s evenly coated.

  4. Cook at low to medium heat until it has begun to stick to the pan. Remove from heat and let cool.
