Easy Chocolate Pancakes
Ingredients
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1.5 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 2 TBS cacao powder
- 1 TBS maple syrup
- 3/4 cup almond milk
- 1 tsp canola oil (plus a little more for brushing on pan)
- 2 TBS peanut butter
Preparation
Add flour, baking powder, cacao powder and salt in a bowl and whisk until combined. Add in maple syrup, peanut butter, milk and canola oil and whisk until well incorporated.
Brush or spray flat pan with oil and heat it low to medium heat.
Add small ladle of pancake batter and cook until middle becomes bubbly and the corners set, then flip with spatula, let it cook a little more and then it's done. Repeat with all remaining batter.
Now stack them up, drizzle with whatever you prefer and add toppings to appease your tastebuds.
