Easy Vegan Chocolate Pancakes
Ingredients
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1.5 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 2 TBS cacao powder
- 1 TBS maple syrup
- 3/4 cup almond milk
- 1 tsp canola oil (plus a little more for brushing on pan)
- 2 TBS peanut butter (smooth)
Preparation
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cacao powder.
In another bowl, mix the maple syrup, almond milk, canola oil, and peanut butter until smooth.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and brush with a little canola oil.
Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the pan for each pancake.
Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook the other side until golden brown.
Repeat with the remaining batter.
