Easy Chocolate Peanut Butter Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 TBS cacao powder
  • 1 TBS maple syrup
  • 3/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 tsp canola oil
  • 2 TBS peanut butter

Preparation

  1. Add flour, baking powder, cacao powder and salt in a bowl and whisk until combined. Then add maple syrup, peanut butter, milk and canola oil and whisk until well incorporated.

  2. Brush or spray a flat pan with oil and heat it on low to medium heat.

  3. Add a small ladle of pancake batter and cook until the middle becomes bubbly and the corners set, then flip with a spatula, let it cook a little more, and it's done. Repeat with all remaining batter.

  4. Stack them up, drizzle with whatever you prefer, and add toppings to suit your tastebuds.
