Fluffy Alkalizing Superfood Pancakes with Soya Milk

Ingredients

  • 1 cup soya milk
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch of pink or sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons Nature's Heart Alkalising Superpowder
  • Oil for frying

Preparation

  1. Mix soya milk and apple cider vinegar or lemon juice, then set aside for ten minutes.

  2. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and Nature's Heart Alkalising Superpowder.

  3. Whisk the milk mixture into the dry ingredients.

  4. Let the batter sit for 3-5 minutes to absorb.

  5. Add a little more milk if the batter is too thick.

  6. Heat a little oil in a large frying pan.

  7. Pour in the batter and cook on medium heat for a minute or so until the surface bubbles.

  8. Flip and cook the other side.

  9. These pancakes are thick and fluffy due to the buttermilk alternative made from soya milk and vinegar.
