Healthy Dye-Free Candy Corn Smoothie

Ingredients

  • Yellow Layer? In a high speed blender combine 1/4 cup blanched and slivered almonds (or raw cashews) + 1 teaspoon vanilla + 2 tablespoons maple syrup + 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk + juice of 3 lemons + 1 tablespoon lemon zest + 1/2 cup frozen riced cauliflower + 1 cup ice cubes until smooth and creamy + 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder. Pour into two glasses until each glass is about halfway full and place in freezer to set
  • Orange Layer? Rinse the blender and combine 1/4 cup blanched and slivered almonds (or raw cashews) + 1 teaspoon vanilla + 2 tablespoons maple syrup + 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk + 1 navel orange + 2 tablespoons orange juice + 1/2 cup frozen riced cauliflower + 1 cup ice cubes until smooth and creamy + 1/2 cup raw baby carrots. Once it is smooth and creamy, use a spoon to gently transfer the orange smoothie on top of the yellow smoothie. Pouring from the blender will cause the colors to bleed together and the layers will not be distinct
