Homemade Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup Quaker old fashioned oats uncooked
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt (optional)
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 egg lightly beaten
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped gala apple

Preparation

  1. Heat chopped gala apple with cinnamon in microwave for 2 minutes before adding to batter.

  2. Mix dry ingredients (flour, oats, baking powder, salt) in one bowl.

  3. Mix wet ingredients (milk, egg, oil, vanilla) in another bowl.

  4. Combine the dry and wet mixtures together.

  5. Add the heated apple to the batter and mix well.

  6. Cook the batter on a skillet.

  7. Add toppings such as apples, McCormick cinnamon, Chobani nonfat Greek yogurt, Sunbutter, Ocean Spray craisins, honey, and enjoy.
