Homemade Vegan Kewpie Style Mayo

Ingredients

  • 1 c soft tofu
  • 1 tbsp cane sugar
  • 1 tsp Japanese mustard or 1/2 tsp mustard powder
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 tsp dashi powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Optional: 1/2 tsp ground turmeric for colour

Preparation

  1. Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth.

  2. It will be a little runny but will set once placed in the fridge.

  3. Mix before use.
