Banana, Honey & Walnuts Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 50 g whole grain rolled oats
  • 250 ml water/milk of your choice
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 mashed banana
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • Banana slices (for topping)
  • Honey
  • Chopped walnuts

Preparation

  1. Combine the whole grain rolled oats, water/milk, and a pinch of salt in a pan.

  2. Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until all the liquid is absorbed and the oats are creamy and tender.

  3. Mash half of a banana and mix it into the cooked oatmeal.

  4. Add a tablespoon of cinnamon to the oatmeal and stir well to incorporate.

  5. Transfer the oatmeal to a bowl.

  6. Top the oatmeal with banana slices, a drizzle of honey, and chopped walnuts.
