Banana, Honey & Walnuts Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 50 g whole grain rolled oats
- 250 ml water/milk of your choice
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 mashed banana
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- Banana slices (for topping)
- Honey
- Chopped walnuts
Preparation
Combine the whole grain rolled oats, water/milk, and a pinch of salt in a pan.
Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until all the liquid is absorbed and the oats are creamy and tender.
Mash half of a banana and mix it into the cooked oatmeal.
Add a tablespoon of cinnamon to the oatmeal and stir well to incorporate.
Transfer the oatmeal to a bowl.
Top the oatmeal with banana slices, a drizzle of honey, and chopped walnuts.
