Vegan Rolled Oats Breakfast with Chia Seeds
Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats (aim for gluten free)
- 1.5 tablespoons chia seeds
- 2.75 cups almond milk or water
- applesauce (use as desired - blend fresh cut apple)
- optional toppings: nuts, berries, pinch of ceylon cinnamon
Preparation
In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, chia seeds, and milk or water.
Combine ingredients until evenly distributed.
Cover and let sit for 10 minutes to allow chia and oats to absorb liquids.
Transfer moistened ingredients to desired serving containers.
Cover and keep in the fridge overnight.
Serve chilled straight from the fridge.
Add applesauce and toppings as desired.
Keeps well in fridge for up to 4 days.
