High Protein Egg White Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup whole grain old fashion oats
- 1/2 cup water (or almond/soy milk)
- 3/4 cup liquid egg whites
Optional toppings
- fruit
- cinnamon
- avocado
- almond or peanut butter
- quest bar
Preparation
Combine oats and water (or milk) in a pot and bring to a boil
Reduce heat and simmer until oats are soft, about 5-10 minutes
Stir in egg whites and cook for another 2-3 minutes until fully incorporated and cooked
Remove from heat and add desired optional toppings before serving
