High Protein Egg White Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup whole grain old fashion oats
  • 1/2 cup water (or almond/soy milk)
  • 3/4 cup liquid egg whites

Optional toppings

  • fruit
  • cinnamon
  • avocado
  • almond or peanut butter
  • quest bar

Preparation

  1. Combine oats and water (or milk) in a pot and bring to a boil

  2. Reduce heat and simmer until oats are soft, about 5-10 minutes

  3. Stir in egg whites and cook for another 2-3 minutes until fully incorporated and cooked

  4. Remove from heat and add desired optional toppings before serving
