Strawberries and Cream Overnight Oats Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 cup oats
- 300ml milk
- Large tablespoon cashew butter
- 400g frozen or fresh strawberries
- 1 medium raw beetroot
Preparation
Soak the oats in 300ml milk overnight.
Chop the beetroot into small pieces.
Blend the soaked oats, cashew butter, strawberries, and chopped beetroot together in a blender until smooth.
Optionally add honey to taste for additional sweetness.
If the mixture is too thick, add more milk or water to achieve the desired consistency.
Serve the smoothie, which makes 2-3 servings, and enjoy for sustained energy.
Note: Cow's milk is used in this recipe, but consider using fortified alternative milk for dietary needs, especially if pregnant or for iodine considerations.
