Skillet Chicken with Roasted Maple Bacon Brussel Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 1 lb brussel sprouts
  • 5 slices bacon
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • Sprinkle of salt
  • Sprinkle of pepper
  • Olive oil
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Potatoes

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. Cut the brussel sprouts in half and cut the bacon into 1/2 inch slices.

  3. Cut potatoes into desired size

  4. Toss brussel sprouts and bacon with maple syrup, salt, and pepper.

  5. Toss potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper

  6. Add both mixtures to a greased baking sheet and roast for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through.

  7. Heat a skillet over medium heat.

  8. When hot, add olive oil.

  9. Add chicken breasts seasoned with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, cook for 7 minutes on each side, and check internal temperature.
