Skillet Chicken with Roasted Maple Bacon Brussel Sprouts
Ingredients
- 1 lb brussel sprouts
- 5 slices bacon
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- Sprinkle of salt
- Sprinkle of pepper
- Olive oil
- 2 chicken breasts
- Salt
- Pepper
- Garlic powder
- Potatoes
Preparation
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Cut the brussel sprouts in half and cut the bacon into 1/2 inch slices.
Cut potatoes into desired size
Toss brussel sprouts and bacon with maple syrup, salt, and pepper.
Toss potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper
Add both mixtures to a greased baking sheet and roast for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Heat a skillet over medium heat.
When hot, add olive oil.
Add chicken breasts seasoned with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, cook for 7 minutes on each side, and check internal temperature.
