Broccoli and Cauliflower Tempura

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 cup of mineral water
  • 1/2 a cauliflower cut into florets
  • 1/2 a broccoli cut into florets
  • 1/4 teaspoon of smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of black sea sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds
  • sunflower oil to fry
  • method
  • in a pot of boiling water add the cauliflower and broccoli and boil for 10 minutes. set aside.
  • chilli sauce
  • 2 teaspoon of chilli sauce
  • 2 teaspoons of maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons of tamari sauce

Preparation

  1. In a pot of boiling water add the cauliflower and broccoli and boil for 10 minutes

  2. Set aside

  3. In a bowl add the flour, paprika, salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder add the water and combine

  4. Place the broccoli and cauliflower in the prepared batter and fry until golden brown

  5. Chilli sauce

  6. Teaspoon of chilli sauce

  7. Teaspoons of maple syrup

  8. Teaspoons of tamari sauce
