Hummus
Ingredients
- 1 (15 oz.) can of chickpeas (garbanzo beans) drained, reserve liquid⠀
- 1/4 cup tahini paste⠀
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice⠀
- 2 cloves garlic, coarsely chopped⠀
- 1/4 tsp. sea salt (or himalayan salt) (to taste; optional)⠀
Preparation
Place chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, and salt (if desired) in food processor or blender
Pulse until very smooth
If hummus is too thick, add 2 tbsp
Of the reserved chickpea liquid and pulse again
Repeat until desired consistency is reached
