Instant Wheat Flour Dosa

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup rice flour
  • 1 cup water
  • Salt to taste
  • A pinch of baking soda
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon oil

Preparation

  1. Whisk together the wheat flour, rice flour, and water in a large mixing bowl until there are no lumps.

  2. Add salt and a little baking soda, and whisk well.

  3. Allow the batter to rest for 20 minutes or until the flour absorbs the water.

  4. Check the consistency and add more water if required.

  5. Heat a tawa or griddle over medium heat

  6. Pour the dosa batter onto the hot tawa.

  7. Sprinkle 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of oil over the top.

  8. Cook on medium flame until the base is crispy and golden brown.

  9. Serve immediately with chutney.
