Easy Homemade Healthy Twix Bars
Ingredients
Bottom layer
- 1/2 cup coconut flour
- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- Pinch of Himalayan sea salt
Caramel
- 1/2 cup almond butter
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Topping
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate baking chips
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
- Pinch of Himalayan sea salt
Preparation
Mix the base ingredients.
Put the mixture into a tray, such as a bread pan.
Mix the caramel ingredients.
Pour the caramel over the base.
Freeze until set.
Meanwhile, melt the chocolate chips with the coconut oil.
Once the base and caramel are set, drizzle the chocolate over them.
