Caramel Popcorn W Chocolate Drizzle
Ingredients
- popcorn kernels
- coconut oil
- caramel sauce
- - 1 cup coconut cream
- - 3/4 cup coconut sugar
- - 1 tbsp corn starch
- - pinch of salt
- chocolate sauce
- - cacao powder
- - coconut oil
Preparation
Make the caramel sauce, add all ingredients into small pot and whisk together till it’s all blended. On med high heat whisk till it’s boiling and bubbly, then lower to simmer and whisk another 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let it thicken and cool down
Make the popcorn, add 1/4 cup kernels into large pot and 1 tbsp coconut oil put lid on. On high heat let the popcorn pop while u shake the pot with two hands. You don’t want it to burn. Then once u hear the kernels popping empty the popcorn into a bowl
Pour a small amount of caramel into the bowl of popcorn, mix it up until every piece of popcorn is coated. Set in fridge to cool off for 5-7 minutes
Mix cacao powder and coconut oil to and microwave it till it’s a liquid and all mixed up. Pour the chocolate sauce on top the popcorn after it’s chilled for a bit so the chocolate will harden when it touches
