Cherry Tomato and Chegan Pepper Cheese Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes (@green.nature_bh)
  • 1 cup Chegan cheese (@jomonbh)
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 cup fresh spinach, chopped (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onion (optional)
  • Pinch of salt and black pepper

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.

  2. In a baking dish, combine the cherry tomatoes and Chegan cheese.

  3. Sprinkle dried thyme over the mixture.

  4. Add the fresh chopped spinach and chopped green onion, if using.

  5. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about an hour, or until the cheese and tomatoes are melted.

  7. Carefully remove the baking dish from the oven.

  8. Mash the mixture with a fork, being cautious as the tomatoes may be hot and spatter.

  9. Serve the cherry tomato and Chegan pepper cheese sauce with bread or pasta.
