Chocolate Avocado Cashew Nut Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 large banana
  • 1 medjool date
  • 2 heaped tablespoons coconut yoghurt
  • 1 teaspoon cashew butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 small banana
  • 2 heaped tablespoons coconut yoghurt
  • 6 chopped Brazil nuts
  • 2 heaped tablespoons cacao powder
  • 1/2 avocado

Toppings

  • blended dates
  • cashew and vanilla butter
  • chocolate sauce
  • granola
  • cacao nibs
  • vanoffee mulberries
  • large dark chocolate button
  • dusting of cacao powder

Preparation

  1. In a blender cup, put 1 large banana, 1 medjool date, 2 heaped tablespoons of coconut yoghurt, 1 teaspoon of cashew butter, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, then blend until smooth.

  2. Spoon the mixture into a bowl.

  3. In the same blender cup, add 1 small banana, 2 heaped tablespoons of coconut yoghurt, 6 chopped Brazil nuts, 2 heaped tablespoons of cacao powder, and 1/2 avocado, then blend until smooth.

  4. Spoon this mixture into the bowl next to the other smoothie.

  5. Using a spoon, swirl the two mixtures together.

  6. Then add toppings as desired, such as blended dates, cashew and vanilla butter, chocolate sauce, granola, cacao nibs, vanoffee mulberries, large dark chocolate button, and a dusting of cacao powder.
