Chocolate Chip Baked Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 4 dl (160g) oats
- 3 tsp chia seeds
- 2 heaped tbsp peanut butter or other nut butter
- 2 tbsp syrup or other sweetener (apple sauce can be used as well)
- 300 ml water
- Cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 1 large ripe banana
- Chocolate chips
- Any other additional extras (e.g., walnuts, white chocolate, macadamia nuts)
Preparation
In a bowl, add oats, chia seeds, cinnamon, and salt. Mix them together.
Mash the banana and add it to the bowl along with the nut butter and syrup. Mix everything together.
Add water to the mixture and mix well. Then, add chocolate chips and any other desired extras.
Grease two pie forms and distribute the mixture evenly into them. Place banana slices on top and add some additional nut butter.
Bake in the oven at 200°C for 13-15 minutes. The baking time may vary depending on your oven.
Once baked, remove from the oven and enjoy. It is best eaten warm. You can halve the recipe to make a single portion.
