Coco-Monkey Post-Workout Smoothie with Collagen

Ingredients

  • 1/4 avocado
  • 1/2 cup full-fat canned coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup pure almond milk
  • 1 green-tipped banana (frozen)
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cacao powder
  • 2 scoops Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides
  • Pinch of Ceylon cinnamon
  • Pinch of vanilla powder or scraped vanilla bean pod (optional)
  • 4 ice cubes

Preparation

  1. Blend all the ingredients together until smooth.

  2. Garnish with cacao nibs and optionally walnuts for added decadence.

  3. Serve in a pre-frozen mason jar to keep it chilled.

  4. Note: This is a modified version where almond meal is omitted to balance daily intake and the protein powder provides thickness.
