Detox Raw Papaya Salad with Peanut Dressing
Ingredients
- raw papaya
- cucumber
- carrots
- red capsicum
- purple cabbage
- coriander leaves (optional)
- mint leaves (optional)
Peanut dressing
- 1/4 cup mildly roasted peanuts
- 1/2 tablespoon jaggery powder
- salt to taste
- chopped coriander stems (optional)
- small piece of ginger
- 1/2 green chili
- freshly squeezed lemon juice
- water as required
Preparation
Julienne the raw papaya after peeling.
Julienne the cucumber, carrots, and red capsicum.
Add the shredded purple cabbage.
Optionally, add coriander and mint leaves to the salad.
For the peanut dressing, combine all dressing ingredients in a mixer.
Blend the mixture until smooth.
Serve the salad with the dressing on the side.
