Flourless Sugar-Free Protein Waffles with Quark
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 50 g butter
- 75 g low-fat quark
- 4 tablespoons vanilla protein powder
- 1 tablespoon xylitol
- a little neutral oil, for the waffle iron
Preparation
Mix the eggs, butter, low-fat quark, vanilla protein powder, and xylitol
Preheat the waffle iron and grease it with a little neutral oil if needed
Spoon about 2 tablespoons of batter onto the preheated waffle iron
Close the waffle iron and bake for about 1 to 2 minutes, or until cooked through
Remove the waffle and, if desired, top with fresh berries or a sugar-free powdered sugar alternative
Tips
Low-fat quark creates a super fluffy texture without flour
