Flourless Sugar-Free Protein Waffles with Quark

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 50 g butter
  • 75 g low-fat quark
  • 4 tablespoons vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon xylitol
  • a little neutral oil, for the waffle iron

Preparation

  1. Mix the eggs, butter, low-fat quark, vanilla protein powder, and xylitol

  2. Preheat the waffle iron and grease it with a little neutral oil if needed

  3. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of batter onto the preheated waffle iron

  4. Close the waffle iron and bake for about 1 to 2 minutes, or until cooked through

  5. Remove the waffle and, if desired, top with fresh berries or a sugar-free powdered sugar alternative

Tips

  1. Low-fat quark creates a super fluffy texture without flour

  2. These waffles are completely sugar-free and flourless
