Healthy No-Sugar Banana Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 3 medium bananas
- 5-6 pitted dates
- 2 tablespoons soaked cashews
- 1/4 cup milk
- some vanilla essence
Topping
- dark chocolate
- walnuts
Preparation
Freeze 3 medium bananas until they are solid
Place the frozen bananas in a blender
Add 5-6 pitted dates to the blender
Add 2 tablespoons of soaked cashews to the blender
Add 1/4 cup of milk to the blender
Add some vanilla essence to the blender
Blend the mixture until it reaches a thick ice cream consistency
Fill ice cream cups with the mixture and place them back in the freezer until firm
Melt dark chocolate using a double boiler
Remove the ice cream cups from the freezer and pour the melted chocolate on top
Quickly sprinkle walnuts over the chocolate before it hardens
Return the ice cream cups to the freezer and store until ready to eat
