Healthy No-Sugar Banana Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 3 medium bananas
  • 5-6 pitted dates
  • 2 tablespoons soaked cashews
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • some vanilla essence

Topping

  • dark chocolate
  • walnuts

Preparation

  1. Freeze 3 medium bananas until they are solid

  2. Place the frozen bananas in a blender

  3. Add 5-6 pitted dates to the blender

  4. Add 2 tablespoons of soaked cashews to the blender

  5. Add 1/4 cup of milk to the blender

  6. Add some vanilla essence to the blender

  7. Blend the mixture until it reaches a thick ice cream consistency

  8. Fill ice cream cups with the mixture and place them back in the freezer until firm

  9. Melt dark chocolate using a double boiler

  10. Remove the ice cream cups from the freezer and pour the melted chocolate on top

  11. Quickly sprinkle walnuts over the chocolate before it hardens

  12. Return the ice cream cups to the freezer and store until ready to eat
