Quick Banana Berry Bowl Cake

Ingredients

  • 75g self-raising flour (gluten-free option)
  • 40g margarine or soft butter
  • 40g mashed banana
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 heaped tablespoon apple sauce
  • A few berries

Preparation

  1. Mash the banana with a fork, then add all other ingredients except the berries into a small bowl.

  2. Stir until combined. The mixture should be thick and sticky.

  3. Gently prod the berries into the mixture.

  4. Microwave on high for 2 minutes using an 850W microwave.

  5. Decorate and eat straight away.

Serving suggestions

  1. Serve with Greek yoghurt or cream.
