Simple Tomato Pasta with Garlic and Basil
Ingredients
- olive oil
- 3 big cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 small chillies, sliced
- 350g cherry tomatoes, roughly chopped
- 2.5 to 3 cups hot pasta water
- big handful of basil leaves
- salt and pepper
- additional olive oil
- 400g cooked pasta
Preparation
Heat olive oil in a big pan over medium-high heat.
Add minced garlic, sliced chillies, and chopped cherry tomatoes to the pan.
Cook for 1-2 minutes.
Add 2.5 to 3 cups of hot pasta water.
Cook for another 2 minutes.
Add basil leaves, salt, pepper, and a few more tablespoons of olive oil to the sauce.
Cook for another minute.
Add cooked pasta and mix everything together. Enjoy!
