Sunshine Turmeric Porridge Bowl
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Oats (gluten-free)
- 1 cup Boiling water
- 1/4 cup Plant-based milk (almond or soy)
- 1 tablespoon Chia seeds or ground flax seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Ginger
Toppings
- FODMAP-friendly nuts
- A few fresh fruits
Preparation
Add oats, chia seeds or flax seeds, turmeric powder and spices into a bowl.
Pour over hot boiling water and let sit for 10-20 minutes.
After the liquid has been absorbed, add a dash of plant milk and microwave for a few minutes if desired.
Top with fruit, coconut shreds, and FODMAP-friendly fruit.
