Superfood Pinole Chia Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup @thepinoleproject oats
  • 1 1/4 cup Soy Milk
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbsp Cashew Butter
  • 1/2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 cup Blueberries
  • 2 Tbsp Pumpkin Seeds
  • 2-3 Figs

Preparation

  1. Combine the oats, soy milk, vanilla extract, cashew butter, and maple syrup in a saucepan.

  2. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the oatmeal is creamy and thickened.

  3. Add the blueberries, pumpkin seeds, and figs, then serve warm.

Notes

  1. This oatmeal is extra nutritious with heart-healthy chia seeds and Pinole.
